Community Groups - join a group in 2020...even if it be online :)
Tired of doing life alone? Ever tried playing frisbee or badminton by yourself? It just doesn't work. You are designed to be in relationship with Christ & other Christians who can support you in following Jesus.
Or maybe you realize that it's super hard to be a Christian without the support of others. ...or you want to have someone who is willing to answer your tough questions, and hear how they have gotten through the doubts all of us have at some time in our faith. Join a Community Group!
Community Groups allow the time and space to share what's going on in your life, as well as you can know others are praying for you. Community Groups meet regularly each week to pray, discuss Sunday’s sermon, serve in the community and share life together. Most groups are 8-14 people and are meeting in homes in Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond. These groups are more than a sporadic meeting, but are meant to be a launching point for deeper friendships of support & encouragement. The relationships may lead to a coffee, or a late night talk, or a meaningful time of prayer. Either way, Culloden is aiming to have 100% of our regular Sunday attenders part of a Community Group!
In the Bible it says, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another..."
The Community Groups are meeting on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night. In the summer the groups don't meet weekly but still connect with each other on a more casual basis.
HOW TO JOIN A GROUP
If you would like to join a Community Group, contact Pastor Paul (firstname.lastname@example.org) for a group that is meeting in your area and fits with your schedule or talk to a leader directly.
